My Experience with Ignite Connections

What Every Realtor Should Know Before Signing

This Ignite Connections review is based on my firsthand experience after an eight-month cold-calling campaign. If you’re considering hiring Ignite Connections, I encourage you to read through my experience before making your decision.

As real estate agents, we’re constantly searching for ways to generate more business. We’re approached by companies promising more appointments, more listings, and faster growth.

In November 2025, I decided to invest in one of those companies—Ignite Connections.

The agreement included a professionally managed cold-calling campaign and a contractual guarantee of eight appointments, subject to certain contractual conditions.

The campaign ran for approximately eight months.

The result?

Zero appointments.

Throughout the campaign, I repeatedly contacted Ignite Connections because I was concerned about the lack of results. Rather than ending the campaign, the company repeatedly adjusted its approach. Calling lists changed. Targeting changed. Scripts changed. Callers changed. The overall campaign strategy changed several times.

Each time, I was told the revised strategy simply needed more time before meaningful results could be expected.

By May 2026, I had reached the point where I wanted to terminate the campaign.

Instead, I was advised in writing that if I terminated before the contractual end date, I would lose my eligibility for a refund. I was also advised that if the agreed-upon results were not achieved by the end of the campaign, Ignite would support me through the refund review process.

Based on those written representations, I allowed the campaign to continue through its contractual end date.

When the campaign concluded, my refund request was denied based on a contractual 15% connection-rate requirement.

I disagreed with the manner in which that contractual provision was applied and prepared a detailed Formal Notice of Contractual Dispute after reviewing the executed agreement, campaign history, dashboard statistics, payment records, and every email exchanged throughout the engagement.

After reviewing my submission, Ignite upheld its original decision.

What I Learned

This article is not intended to tell anyone whether they should or should not hire Ignite Connections.

It is intended to encourage Realtors to ask better questions before signing any agreement with a lead generation company.

Here are the questions I wish I had asked before signing:

  • How is every contractual requirement measured?
  • How is a “connection” defined?
  • Will progress toward every contractual condition be communicated throughout the campaign?
  • If campaign strategies change multiple times, how does that affect the guarantee?
  • How are refund eligibility decisions made?
  • Who is responsible for proactively reviewing campaign performance?

As Realtors, we make significant investments in our businesses. Every marketing company should be evaluated carefully, every contract should be read thoroughly, and every guarantee should be fully understood before signing.

My hope is that sharing my experience helps another real estate professional make a more informed business decision.
